Detailed Release Notes

New and Enhanced

• Effort Importer Enhancements
  • Certification Period Type and Pay Period Type issues now log as Errors (instead of Warnings) and are included in the Exception Count.
    Added a Deleted Count column to display the total reversed count, and the Reverse Import button is now disabled after a single use.
  • Removed the Load and Delete All buttons from the Log screen in both Financial and Effort Importers.
• Projections Improvements
  • Removed the requirement for Org, Program, Flex 1, and Flex 2 fields and lifted the 100% distribution rule, simplifying data entry and improving usability.
  • Updated logic to allow partial salary allocations, providing more flexibility when planning fund spending.
  • Field lists (Object Code, Program, Flex 1, Flex 2) now display in alphanumeric order by code for easier navigation.
  • Significantly improved performance of the NCP & CP drop-downs; large datasets now load quickly and reliably.
• Upcoming Enhancement: Projections Workspace/Tab
  • Change to user selection behavior when creating New Projections: With this release, users can only select people who already exist in Admin; previously, it was possible to type in a new name. This limitation will be fixed in the next release. In the meantime, users estimating costs for proposed new hires can use any existing person as a placeholder.

Resolved

• Fixed Projections drop-down to correctly display only direct/non-personnel object codes under the appropriate Non-personnel and Personnel headings.
  Fixed Non-Sponsored Funds search in Fund Manager (MSM) so all eligible non-sponsored funds are now searchable in the Fund Detail drop-down.
• Corrected Project Effort certification to display times in the proper local time zone.
• Adjusted Quick-look fund drop-down to correctly display funds based on user’s OrgUnit and Cost Center permissions after the latest API update.
• Fixed Non-Sponsored grid summary to display all chart-string components in Code – Name format.
• Fixed CP Person Name field to display all principal investigators in the drop-down.
