Starting a Room Case
Animals involved in room cases will be based on the current census in the room rather than by searching for specific animals. The most common purpose for a room case would be to treat some kind of outbreak such as MPV, however you could use a room case wherever there is a situation where a set of health-related activities will be performed on every cage in the room.
- Click Start New Room Case.
- Select the facility and room from the drop-down and fill out any relevant information on the Overview page. Click Start Room Case.

- Once all of the activities have been scheduled for a plan, click Submit Room Case in the Table of Contents. Fill in your password and click Start Treatment.
Note: If the logged-in user is in the AHEALTH role, they have the option of submitting the case to one or more Vets or to the PI or to simply start the treatment.
