Organizational Preferences determine important behavior throughout your Cayuse Proposals application regarding policies and practices for electronic proposal development, and submission and access to information in the system. Your selections impact how the product is used and how submissions are performed. You'll want to set up these preferences so that they best reflect the policies and processes of your organization.
Once you have made decisions on how your business process should be implemented in Cayuse Proposals, you can configure Cayuse Proposals for your needs by visiting the Admin tab and selecting Organizational Preferences. Since a change in any of these preferences significantly impacts the activities of the system, only SysAdmin users have access privileges to make these changes.
Broadly, the Organizational Preferences affect profile creation and access, opportunity management, routing and submission, permissions to profiles and proposals, display of certain options and forms, and validations. Each group of preferences is shown below with a short discussion of how it affects system behavior. If you have further questions, please feel free to contact Cayuse Support.
