In addition to user management and system messages, other settings that change the behavior of the Cayuse Proposals system are found under Settings in the More tab.
System Settings
These are technical settings for your Cayuse Proposals system. If you believe you need to modify any of these settings, contact Cayuse Support.
Primary Institution
Once you have set up your primary Institutional Profile, you'll need to set it as the Primary Institution for user bulk-loads and if your institution is using Single Sign-on. During the bulk load process, Professional Profiles are usually affiliated with an Institutional Profile. This function selects the Institutional Profile to be used in the current bulk load.
Select a profile from the list to use as the primary institutional profile and click Set Primary Institution to finalize the setting. While a profile is the primary profile, it cannot be deleted.
The listbox containing the selectable institutions includes the short name for the institutions to help distinguish between institutions with similar long names.
Single Sign-on
These settings are for use only with an integrated SSO system. Usually these will be set under the guidance of a Cayuse Proposals Implementation Specialist.
- Is SSO Enabled? Should be checked once the SSO setup process is complete.
- Post-Logoff URL: Where to redirect when logging out. When using SSO, the user never sees the Cayuse sign-in pages, so an alternate URL should be provided here, often for your institution's SSO sign-out or sign-in page.
