Detailed Release Notes
Please note:
- There will be a very small change to the UAT landing page when logging in. Instead of being directed to the Fund Summary page on login, you will be directed to the new dashboard (see below). This change is tentatively scheduled to deploy to Production deployment on January 11, 2024.
- The name of the Financial Dashboard (see below) will change to Fund Dashboard on January 4th. Functionality will remain the same.
New and Enhanced
- A Financial Dashboard (name changing to Fund Dashboard on Jan. 4th - see note above) tab has been added to the Fund Manager header that provides a Quick Look financial overview. of all funds without having to dig into the application to search for it. Additional sections will be added to the dashboard in future releases.
- From the new tab:
- Select an active Sponsored fund from the drop-down search field next to Quick Look.
- The following information will populate:
- Fund information
- Personnel information
- Expenditure Burn Rate
Read more about using the Financial (Fund) Dashboard.
Enhanced in Project Effort
- Filterable columns have been added to the landing page of Project Effort. Previously, the landing page displayed all Personnel, making it difficult and cumbersome to sort through the entire list. The landing page now defaults to a filtered view showing Personnel with only the statuses of Ready and Certified.
- Filterable columns have been added to the landing page of Certification Control/Initialize Certification Process.
- When you click Certification Control, and select Initialize Certification, all employees that have been brought into the Effort Application for any prior period are retrievable on this initial landing page now.
- Filter off of the Status and Period Name columns to retrieve the results you want to see at a given time.
- The List process button has been removed as it is no longer needed due to the added functionality on the landing page.
- The Certification Process now begins with selecting the Initialize Button (Prepare and Apply Rules) to move the employees from the Not Initialized status to the Initialized Status.
- A Search Box has been added where you can type either an employee ID number or employee name.
-
Next, select the Enable Button to move the employees from the Initialized Status to the Ready to Certify Status.
Fixed in Fund Manager
- An issue has been fixed that was causing Funds to be listed multiple times in some environments in Fund Review.
