Detailed Release Notes

New and Enhanced

  • Non-Sponsored Funds
    • Transaction Details view can now be exported in a .csv file by using the new Export CSV button.
    • Update July 24: This item is being removed from this release and will be included in a future release. We’ve added required filter capabilities when running a search. The date range must be entered, which will establish your Beginning Balance amount. You can choose which date type to use, Transaction or Accounting within the Search and Filter modal.
    • In the Transaction Detail modal, you can now see Accounting Period Date when viewing the full transaction, allowing for a greater level of detail.
  • Effort
    • Using Activity Codes is now an option to have in each customer application. If you choose to have Activity Code Functionality, it is a required step in the certification process. If you choose not to use Activity Code Functionality, they are inactivated from the specific customer application.
  • Codes
    • All customers now have the ability to add and edit Object Codes now in the Shared Codes section. This we previously listed under the Fund Manager Codes section.

Fixed

  • Chartstring Security 

    • Removed unnecessary disclaimer note.
  • Sponsored Funds Detail
    • The message regarding Award Balance Updates has been revised to say “Currently, Awarded Balance only populates if you integrate with the Cayuse Grants application.”
  • Projections
  • We fixed an issue that was causing newly created ObjectCodes within a Projections scenario to not be displayed in the Non-Compensation Grid and appear as a blank field in the ObjectCode column.
  • Non-Sponsored Funds Detail
    • Previously, when viewing the Fund Type(s) on the Non-Sponsored page, the Beginning Balance and Budget column were not appearing in the Transaction Detail modal. This has now been fixed and can be properly viewed.
    • We have corrected a bug that was causing parent OrgUnits not to display all associated child Orgs in the drop-down menu.
