This article explains how to view, schedule, deny, cancel (or undo) Overtime. This can only be done in the Overtime Calendar. Unlike PTO, Overtime cannot be logged in Daily Planning. It is entirely managed from the calendar.
Instructions
- Open the Overtime Calendar from the Home page. The tile will show if there are any pending signup requests from staff.
- Find the Overtime record and click on it to edit it.
- Change the Status field as needed, e.g. Scheduled. Tip: the names of statuses can be changed in the Dictionaries > Scheduling Statuses page.
- Edit additional fields (if needed) and Click Save.
Once scheduled (aka approved), the staff will instantly have their available time increased in Daily Planning.
