The RR Personal Data form is used by agencies as part of the review and award process to identify any inequities based on gender, race, ethnicity, or disability of a proposal's PD/PIs and co-PD/PIs to a maximum of five (5) people.
Key People are automatically added to the Cayuse Proposals' RR Personal Data form from the proposal and any linked subawards. But how do you know who will be added?
The addition of Key people is based on three (3) rules:
- The role of the key person,
- The order in which the key person was added to the proposal or linked subaward, and
- The order in which the key person's role was changed (if the form limit has not already been reached).
Rule One has to do with the key person's role. It is important to note that only one (1) PD/PI is included on the RR Personal Data form, even if there are more PD/PIs included on the proposal/subaward. And only up to four (4) co-PD/PIs can be added to the Personal Data form.
IMPORTANT: Only the roles of PD/PI and co-PD/PI are included in the RR Personal Data form.
In fact, the first page of the RR Personal Data form specifies Project Director/ Principal Investigator in the sub-heading (see the highlighted section below).
Pages two through five specify co-Project Director/Principal Investigator (see highlighted section below).
Rule Two is all about the order in which the key people are added to the proposal. Key People are added to the RR Personal Data form pages in the order in which they are added to the proposal and any linked subawards. If there are more than four co-PD/PIs total included in the proposal, only the first four (4) will be included on the RR Personal Data forms.
Rule Three deals with changes made to the role of a Key Person. If a person is originally assigned to a role other than PD/PI or co-PD/PI, they will not appear on the RR Personal Data form. However, if that person's role is subsequently changed to PD/PI is there is currently no PD/PI on the Personal Data form, that person will be added on the Personal Data form page #1. If the person's role is changed to co-PD/PI and there are less than four (4) co-PD/PIs on the proposal, that person will be added to the next available Personal Data form (pages 2-4).
