Using Percentage of Change Count Activities in Schedules

This article explains how (and when) to use the Percentage of Cage Count options for Cage Type activities.

Instructions

1. In the Dictionaries > Activities page, edit/add an activity with Activity Type equals Cage Type.
2. Set Quantity Uses to Percentage of Cage Count and click Save.
   
   
   
3. Go to a Schedule Setup > Rooms > click a room > Scheduled Activities tab. Note: can also be done via the Room Templates.
   
   
   
4. Edit the activity and enter the Projected percentage of total cages. e.g. estimating 2.15% of total cages on the room will require spot changes each day.
   
   
   

Note 1: In the absence of historical data, this can just be an estimate you provide.

Note 2:This percentage will be what the system uses when calculating the estimated duration for the activity.
