Archiving a Unit in Proposals (S2S)

Step 1: Delete the Unit

1. Click on Institutions.
   
   
   
2. Click on the name of your organization.
   
   
   
3. In the menu, click on Organizational Units.
   
   
   
4. From the Organizational Units page, find the unit or subunit you wish to move. Delete the unit by clicking X.
   
   
   

Step 2: Hide the Unit in Backbone

1. From Backbone, click on Org Hierarchy.
   
   
   
2. Click on the unit you removed.
   
   
   
3. Edit the Unit Name to include the word "Archive."
   
   
   
4. Check Hide Unit.
   
   
   
5. Click Save.
   
   

Please Note: For data integrity purposes, we do not recommend deleting units from Backbone.
