Use List Reports to display the miscellaneous data that are not available through other report formats. For instance, you can create List reports to display:
- Total Effort by Principal Investigator,
- Grant Account Numbers House in Department,
- Grant List by Department, Division, and Principal Investigator, and
- Annual Report, among others.
The List Report Criteria Selection screen provides you with report choices that combine Department Number and various other criteria to display grants on the basis of where they are housed (inside and/or outside the department). The Status field determines whether you have selected grants that are Pending, Active, Terminated, or Rejected. IF left blank, all grants are selected.

How to Generate a Grant List Report
From the Grants Module, Reports menu, follow these steps to generate a Grant List Report. Descriptions for fields and buttons follow this section.
- Select List Reports. The Grant List Reports Criteria Selection screen appears.
- Click the desired grant Status checkbox—Pending, Active, Terminated, or Rejected. You can tab through the selections.
Note: If left blank, all grants are selected.
For the remaining criteria, filter by the data you want to populate your report. See Understanding List Report Field and Button Descriptions below for an explanation of how your selection will affect your report output. - Select the desired Report format from the drop-down menu.
- Click Print to generate the report. (You can learn more about navigating the report toolbar here.)
- Print or Export the report, as desired. A dialog box appears. Click OK. IF you have selected Export, the system will prompt you to designate a file location for the exported file. You will be able to view and manage your exported report there.
- Click Close to leave the Criteria Selection screen.

Status |
The desired report can be based on one of four status conditions. At least one of the status conditions must be selected. |

Grant Number |
Select either proposal # or University # to be displayed on the report. |

Effective Date |
Key the report date selection criteria desired. This date is usually ‘today’, or the start date of a fiscal year, or the end date of the fiscal year. The report then lists grants that have a budget period start date that is before the effective date and a budget period end date that is after the effective date. This means that the grant is ongoing on the Effective Date. |

Select from drop down menu to report on only one PI; leave blank to include all PI Types in the report. |
