Department Manager Reports offer you various formats to display, print, or export data in a meaningful way for your needs. Reports are available in the Grant, Accounting, and Personnel Modules.
Report generation comprises two steps: format definition and criteria selection.
- Format definition determines how your report will look.
- Criteria selection determines which records are retrieved from the database to populate your report.
Although each module has its own reporting capabilities, report generation and navigation are similar across each.

Format Definition
Define the format of your report by selecting the desired report type from the Reports menu (and submenus as needed). For example, in Personnel, you might select a List Report from the File menu, which determines how your report is organized.
A Criteria Selection screen will appear for your selected report type.
Criteria Selection
Fill out the criteria to filter your report for the details you want.
For example, to pull the records for an individual employee, enter an Employee ID in the corresponding field in the Criteria Selection form. Other criteria might include selection by date ranges, rank, title, department, and other user-defined codes.
Select the desired criteria to determine what data will display in your report. You can even click the Selection Criteria button to drill down to a finer level of detail if desired. Select and click OK.
Once you have selected the desired criteria, click Print to generate your report. The report will appear in a separate window.
Note: If you are working from the Accounting module, click the checkbox to generate your report.
