As a Cayuse Backbone administrator, you can search for, edit, or delete a sponsor. You can also add a sponsor contact to the sponsor record.
Searching for a Sponsor
- Within Cayuse SP, click on the Admin tab, and then click Backbone.
- Click on the Sponsors tab.
- In the search box, enter a part of the sponsor name (not their abbreviation) or their sponsor code. Click . Leave the box blank and click Search to see a list of all sponsors.
- If your search returns only one result, you'll be taken directly to that Sponsor's record. Otherwise, you'll see a list of matching records. Click on the name of the sponsor you wish to view.
Editing and Deleting a Sponsor
On the sponsor record, click to edit any fields beneath the General tab.
To hide a Sponsor rather than deleting it, select the Hide Sponsor checkbox. The sponsor will be hidden in the autofill list with the Cayuse Research Suite, but Backbone retains the sponsor information for reporting purposes.
Once you are done editing the sponsor, click .
To delete a sponsor, click . Click to confirm deletion.
Adding a Sponsor Contact
- Click the Sponsor Contact tab.
- Click .
- Complete as many fields as desired. No fields are mandatory. Click Save Changes to record the new sponsor contact or Cancel to close without saving changes.
Each Sponsor record can only have one Sponsor contact, so if the Sponsor Contact changes, you can update the information here or remove the contact entirely.
