Demographics Section
- Active - this is the default setting and displays all demographics information.
- Hide demographics - hides demographics in UI only.
- Hide demographics section and Delete All Existing Data - deletes all existing database data.
When selecting the option to Hide demographics section and Delete All Existing Data:
- A banner will appear at the top of the page to confirm the deletion is taking place and that you may continue working in the meantime.
- Demographics information cannot be uploaded to HR Connect and there will be an error on the report.
Gender Section
Admins have the ability to choose how Gender demographics are displayed in the Admin > People > Profile section for users at their organization.
- Default Gender Values - this is the default list of gender demographics with preselected values that cannot be updated.
- Australian Bureau of Statistics - a dataset sourced directly from the organization with preselected values that cannot be updated.
- New Zealand Services for Tertiary Education Organizations - a dataset sourced directly from the organization with preselected values that cannot be updated.
- Custom - a list containing all values that can be updated as desired by toggling the Active column on/off. Once updated, select Save.
ORCID Section
An optional, direct integration with ORCID is available and enables users to link their Cayuse and ORCID profiles together, adding a verified ORCID ID to their Cayuse profile. This integration has no additional cost from Cayuse and is included as part of the standard Platform functionality.

To configure how Funding Labels are displayed for users in your region, go to Admin > More > Configurations and select one of the following options:
