Here is a list of all updates for Cayuse Proposals (S2S), updated August 21, 2021.

New

Validations

  • The NIH BRV Rule 020.0.2 has been relaxed to a warning message for missing credentials.
  • The NIH BRV Rule v1.48 now includes a warning for Senior/Key People missing NIH credentials.
  • The NIH BRV changes for v1.48 have been updated to comply with NIH changes.
  • The NIH BRV Cayuse Business Rule v1.47 has been updated to comply with NIH changes.

Forms

  • ED_SF424_Supplement v3.0 Form has been updated with revised schema. The FLV validation has been adjusted to exclude 0 points. The default value of points field has been changed to "" instead of zero.
  • Fillable Form HRSA NFLP fillable Form v1.1 has now been updated so there are no discrepancies between the Cayuse form and the Grants.gov form.
  • The following forms are now available:
    • Class II Support for the IMLS Museum Form v2.0 is now available.
    • Class II Support for v2.0 of the IMLS_Library Form has now been added.
    • Class I Support for the IMLS Supplementary Information Form v3.0 is now available.
    • Class II support for Form_13978 v1.0 is now available.
    • Class II support for Form_13977 v1.0 VITA Grant Budget Plan is now available.

General

For Platform enabled institutions:

  • A flag now exists in the database to indicate if an institutional profile is internal or external.
  • Only Sys-Admin users and the "owner" of a profile can associate, remove and edit external affiliations for that profile.
  • The Institutional Profile List now indicates whether a profile is Internal or External.
  • Internal institutional users with a Person Profile and User Account in Admin can now be affiliated with both an Internal and External Institutional Profile.
  • Internal Institutional Profile information is read-only for all end users in Integration Mode.
  • List, read and autofill has now been granted to all users on all professional profiles. All professional profiles can be seen and autofilled by all users. Only a Sys-Admin user, and the "owner" of a profile can create external affiliations for that profile
  • Users can now only create external institutional profiles in Proposals (S2S). External institutional profiles are localized to Proposals (S2S) and used for auto-filling onto proposals as collaborating and/or sub-awardee institutions.

For non-Platform enabled Institutions:

  • The upload of SciENcv-generated biosketches and current support PDFs are now enabled.
  • 424A fields & behaviors have now been adjusted to allow a wider range of uses.

Fixes

    • The schema for Form ED Supplement v3.0 changed so that the user must now enter at least one point if they answer Yes to the Novice question. W added a BRV Error that is triggered by an empty or 0 points field.
    • The validation service was throwing inaccurate warnings on proposals related to project & budget start/end dates. This has now been fixed.
    • The category of Delayed Onset Study title BRV has now been changed so that it always fires for that HSCTI 2.0.
    • The correct BRV will now be displayed when variables representing the status of the Senior/Key Person subaward inclusion checkboxes are initialized earlier.
