Application Settings control how Human Ethics applications are configured, routed, and reviewed. To view and manage these settings, navigate to More > Application Settings from the main menu.
From there, choose from the following categories to configure:
- General
- Notifications & Messages
- Study
- Workflow
Please note: Be sure to Save all changes once updates are made.
General
Control the overall configuration of your application, such as:
- Default notification settings
- Visibility rules for users and reviewers
- Preferred date formatting and timezone
Notifications & Messages
Customize how and when notifications are sent:
- Set automated reminders for tasks, expiration dates, and administrative check-ins
- Adjust reminder messaging frequency
Study
Define how study details are captured and displayed:
- Configure study expiration limits
- Set default study label prefix
- Enable or disable study sequence number resets
Workflow
Control the steps an application goes through during review:
- Set required level of organizational approvals
- Define when circumstances require approval, certification, or recertification
- Assign tasks or responsibilities to specific user roles
