In order to add tooltips, you will need to have access to the Expert tool. You can retrieve the login information from your Cayuse implementation specialist.
Adding Clue Tips
- Log in to the Expert application.
- Click on Document Management.
- Click on the application you wish to edit so it is highlighted, and then click on the application tab.
- Scroll down to the alerts table. Click on the alert you wish to edit so it is highlighted. Scroll back up and click on the alert tab.
- If editing a page, click on the page and then click the Edit (pencil) icon. If editing a button, click on the alert within the new Alert Events table, and then click on the Edit (pencil icon).
- Input your text into the Clue Tips field, and click Save in the bottom right corner./li>

Clue Tips on tabs will need to be clicked to show the tip.
Homepage: Buttons
Clue Tips on buttons will appear when a user hovers over the button.
Pages: Instructions
Clue Tips will need to be clicked to show the tip.
Editing Tooltips
You can double click in the Clue Tips box to expand the text field.
To add a title to a Clue Tip, you will want to enter the title and then separate it from the body of the clue tip with the pipe ( | ) character. There should not be any spaces between the pipe.

To bold text in a Clue Tip, you will need to encase your text with the bold html tag ( ).
Example:
Click this button to start a new protocol document <b>draft</b>.
To add a bullet in a Clue Tip, you will need to add a list item tag (<li></li>) before the text that will be bulleted.
