As an administrator, you can manage proposals from the Proposal Administration screen. You can reach the proposal administration screen by searching for the proposal on the Project Dashboard.
Available Actions
Available actions are within the tabs listed on the proposal information screen.
These tabs also contain data associated with the proposal.
- General: View status history of the proposal, change assigned reviewers, and edit other administrative information.
- Routing: View the investigators and units who must certify or authorize, or have already certified or authorized, the proposal record. This display is identical to the display in the Routing tab of the Proposal Routing Status page, and the status history is the same as the one shown in the General tab.
- Compliance: Manage the approval status for IRB studies and IACUC protocols. See Compliance Information.
- Events: Learn more about Events here.
- Awards: Awards associated with the proposal appear here, and if you have Award administration privileges, you can also set up an award for a grant, contract, or cooperative agreement. Learn more about creating awards here.
- Notes and Attachments: Add either a note or attachment to the record.
- Emails: View the history of auto-generated emails that have been sent out regarding a proposal. These are typically requests and notifications triggered during routing.
Routing Status
The proposal's routing status and status history are shown beneath the General tab.
A proposal record moves through the routing process with each electronic approval. Admins with Proposal Edit Access can artificially move a proposal forward or backward through various statuses. Click on the proposal status to change the routing status. Please note: Routing status cannot be changed if the award status is set to Obligated.
In the new window, click on the new status, and the status will automatically update in the general tab.
