The opportunities tab lists downloaded federal funding opportunities. Additional opportunity information, such as schema, instructions, and associated forms, is also available.
How to View Opportunity Information
- From your Cayuse Proposals dashboard, click on the Opportunities tab.
- Type the opportunity number, CFDA number, or any number of words from the title of the opportunity into the search box at the top of the Opportunities tab. Don't forget to include any hyphens. Click Search.
- Your opportunity will display within the opportunities list. Click on
next to the opportunity to reach Opportunity Details.
Opportunity Statuses
You may see other icons next to the opportunity indicating the opportunity status:
Expired: The opportunity's closing date has past. While proposals can still be created based on this opportunity, they will likely be rejected.
Unsupported: Cayuse Proposals does not support one or more forms within the opportunity and cannot create a proposal.
Opportunity Details
The Opportunity Details window includes links to the schema, instructions, and applicable Adobe form packages. You will also find detailed primary agency contact information.
Forms
You can also see a list of forms associated with the opportunity. This section tells you if the forms are supported and/or mandatory. If any forms are not supported by Cayuse Proposals, they will have a red X next to them. If the opportunity is not supported by Cayuse Proposals, the form or forms preventing proposal creation will be listed at the bottom of the window.
