Detailed Release Notes
New and Enhanced: General
- An update has been made to allow commas (,) to be recognized from the study title search and produce results when used under the studies page.
- Improvements have been made to the system to avoid sending renewal notices to study contact personnel while a renewal submission is in process.
- When running a report, we have added a new confirmation message to let you know when the report finished running and is ready to be viewed.
- The Human Ethics interface has been updated so that the product switcher (found under the Products dropdown) will only display the products that each user has access to. In the past, a list of all Cayuse products in use at your institution were displayed while the user was inside the IRB product.
New Make Decision Step
This new enhancement enables institutions to independently cancel any study withdrawal or closure submissions without needing to contact Cayuse Support or engineering teams for assistance. This improvement allows for a quicker resolution to removing unnecessary submissions, and streamlines the process for immediate action.
- A new Make Decision step has been added to the processing of Study Closure and Withdrawal forms (found under Required Tasks list), with two options available for analyst members to choose from the following options:
- Approved: If selected, the submission proceeds as usual, and the study will be closed (case applies when processing a study closure form).
-
Voided: If selected, the submission is completed, but the study remains open (case applies when processing a study closure form)
Accessibility Improvements:
- Enhanced screen reader descriptions
- Updated tooltips to utilize greater description
- New visual focus indicators when navigating through links
