Release Summary

Here's a quick overview of the updates in this release:

  • New features and enhancements are delivered in this release to bring efficiencies to the animal procurement, census and care processes.

  • Beginning September 26th, we will schedule the rollout for each individual customer to take place during Q4 2024.
  • Your primary point of contact will receive an email notification from Cayuse Customer Success at least two weeks prior to your scheduled release date.
  • Releases are anticipated to take place on Thursdays from 6pm-11pm PST.

Change Log:

Sep 12: An enhanced item allowing Vivarium staff to manage vendor black out dates has been removed from this release. It may be available in the future.

New and Enhanced

  • Animal Inventory
    • Enhancement has been made to the mobile scanning feature allowing vivarium staff to update rack information when a device is offline. Data is synced when the device returns to Wifi connection.
  • Vet Care
      • Validation has been added to prevent users from starting a new health case for animals that have not yet been received.
