To remove all budget, expense, and encumbrance transactions in Fund Manager or Effort for the purpose of initiating a new historical data load, please follow the procedure of including the attached file within a zip folder in your daily SFTP Data Load submission.
It is recommended to send this file individually in a zip format and verify in Fund Manager that all transactions have been deleted before submitting your new full historical data load. Alternatively, if this file is included in a zip along with new transaction data, the data load package will prioritize processing this file first, removing all existing transactions before loading any other files within the zip folder.
Please note:
- Be sure to delete the first instruction worksheet and convert only the tab called CLIENT CODE _Transaction_Data_Delete to a .csv file before sending the Zip File.
- Name the file as follows: CLIENTCODE_Transaction_Data_Delete_YYYYMMDD.csv
Update “CLIENTCODE” with the code that you use in front of all the data files.
