Before you get started:
- Person Title and Salary information is not retrievable from the Personnel feature within Fund Manager. All of the data in Projections must be entered manually.
The Projections feature is a workspace area to prepare & analyze hypothetical scenarios for Compensation and Non-Compensation Projections.
Steps to Create a New Projections Scenario
1. From the Projections tab, click the + New Scenario button.
2. Complete the fields for the new scenario. Three different filter capabilities are available within the scenario to retrieve your data.

- New Scenario Name: This is a required field and can contain any scenario name.
- Description: Additional details describing the use of the scenario.
- Filter Criteria - Principal Investigator(s): Optionally select as many PI names from the down-down as desired. By selecting only one PI, their full financial portfolio will be displayed allowing for ultimate budget management decision making.
- Filter Criteria - Fund(s): Optionally select as many Funds from the down-down as desired.
- Filter Criteria - Org Level(s): Optionally select as many Org Levels from the down-down as desired.
- Save Button: Click to Save and store the scenario.
3. View the current balances for all the funds retrieved within the new scenario.
4. To delete a Projections Scenario, click the Actions drop-down and then Delete.

- Do multiple projections within scenario by clicking New Scenario. If you have more than one Projection, you can sort and filter, and drag and drop columns within the grid
