As a PI, you can request an animal transfer to or from another PI or protocol through the Animal Inventory module.
- Click on the Request Options alert, click on the protocol for the animal transfer, and click Animal Transfers.
- Fill out the animal transfer form, including whether you are transferring animals from your own protcol, the researcher you want to request from, and the details and housing details of your animals.
- Click Save changes, and then Submit Request.
Upon submitting your request, the researcher you are requesting from will receive a notification to review the request, as well as the Vet and the Animal Supervisor.
You can track animal transfers out and animal transfers in beneath alerts within the left menu.
