Major Feature Release
In order to reduce reviewer routing confusion, we have added a new role called COI Primary Reviewer. If you are assigned this new role, Disclosures can be set up to automatically route to you for review, based on the Unit, reducing time it takes to manually assign reviewers.
Please note the following about the new role:
- It is optional and not required to be used.
- If no COI Primary Reviewer is assigned, the system will continue to auto-assign review to a COI Reviewer affiliated with the Covered Individual’s Unit. The assignment, however, will be random if there is more than one COI Reviewer.
- The role must be assigned by a COI Admin.
- Auto-assignment must be toggled to On in the Assignments settings in order for the role to work as intended.
- The COI_Reviewers_by_Unit report has been modified to include the new role for all units.

Fixes
- An email service adjustment has been made allowing all email notifications to successfully be sent out to assignees now.
- We’ve resolved an issue that was causing COI disclosures to route to System Admins despite being set up for auto-assign.
- Auto-assigned disclosures now automatically check to ensure reviewers are active, and will bypass any inactive reviewers on the routing chain.
- We’ve fixed an issue that was causing disclosees to be listed in the reviewer list.
- The Reviewer Search is once again displaying an accurate list after an issue was fixed.
