These are the release notes for Cayuse Platform and Admin Module, updated December 2, 2021.

Major Feature - Email Templates:
Users with certain roles, permission and product provisions can now manage and configure email templates for some Cayuse products directly from the Admin Module. The templates can be accessed from Admin > More > Email Templates. SP 4.0 and Admin Module email templates are accessible now for configuring with text or email placeholders for a more personalized feel. Other notable features of the email templates include:
- Configurable notifications
- Ability to add an Ad Hoc team to CC/BCC fields
- Use of placeholders in template Subject and email body (available placeholder lists available in the in-app Resource Center).

New
- When attempting to upload a .csv bulk load file with an extra column, users will now see an error message indicating the issue for easier resolution.
- The Cayuse application formerly known as PHD Manager has now been renamed to Graduate Education Manager.
- Users no longer need to have a separate Link Viewer Role group in order to gain access to the Platforms Product Menu for Ethics Monitor, Repository, and Graduate Education Manager. Those Access Role Permissions are now part of each new Role Group for those products.
- Inventions permissions have been added to the Admin app
- All roles can now be assigned via the Admin app for Inventions products and Haplo products (Repository, Human Ethics, and Graduate Manager).
- Users may now opt to see their preferred name displayed in the Common Header and are not limited to using their legal name.
- Under Admin User Accounts and Roles, there is now a new column for Description.
Updates to HR Connect Bulk Load
- Users can now batch import Person User, Profile, and Profile Contact information.
- Users will now see an error message if an error is detected during the upload process. Error reasons may include:
- Uploading a file with an unsupported file type in the URL
- Uploading a file with an supported file type in the URL, but does not have the expected CSV headers
- Querying the status of a job with an unsupported file type in the URL
- Downloading the report of a job with an unsupported file type in the URL
API
Users can now do the following in SP 4.0 via an API endpoint:
- Retrieve award modifications.
- Download a proposal attachment.
- Download an award attachment.
- List an award attachment.
- List a proposal attachment.
- Retrieve a list of proposals using a date filter
- Update a proposal form using the PATCH action
- The following API "answerKey" fields now source from the Internal API "id" field via an API endpoint:
- Public Proposal
- Public Subaward
- Public Award
Fixes
- Columns for ‘User Active’ and ‘Home Phone’ have now been added to the Admin Bulk Load csv template.
- RS Admins no longer encounter an error when attempting to upload an attachment to a person profile's Documents section.
