Some fields within Cayuse email templates can be configured using email placeholders.
Please note: Placeholders cannot support any special formatting (bold, italics, underlined, etc).
What is a placeholder?
Placeholders are merge fields that add a value that is pulled from the product. Cayuse placeholders always begin and end with double curly brackets and have descriptive text in between.
In the example below, the placeholder is {{Task.CreateDate}}. This placeholder represents the value of the date a task was created.
When this email is sent, the creation date of the task will automatically replace the placeholder. The recipient of the email will see something similar to this:
Getting Started with Placeholders
Placeholders can be used in the Subject and Email Body fields of email templates, located within the Cayuse Admin module. Click here to learn more about accessing email templates.
