Detailed Release Notes
New and Enhanced
- The PHS 398 Research Plan form has been added to the Forms I grants.gov package.
- Introduced a $50K F&A Base Code option for subawards.
- Added functionality for institutional administrators to manage research team groups and assign them to studies.
- For multisite studies, the outcome screen will now prompt to update values only when they differ from the general study page and the setting rb.site_submissions_are_synced_to_core is turned off.
- Emails notifying users of lapse are now sent regardless of whether their COI due date is set, removing the previous restriction that only sent notices when the COI due date was empty.
Resolved
- Restored custom "signed off by" text to PDF documents generated from submitted forms.
- Resolved issue preventing consents from auto-expiring after their expiration date.
- Fixed an issue that prevented users from attaching applications within a submission form.
- Letters routed for signature are now locked from further edits once the approval task is completed.
- Updated labels now display correctly when changed in Setup UI Content > Proposal Number.
- Fixed filter issue in "Studies By Department" report for project number searches.
- Resolved display issue in View Submission History under My Protocols.
- Start a Submission Form now opens in an AJAX window, keeping users in the study workspace menu.
- Access to the outcome screen for non-study submission forms has been restored.
- Meeting records now display correctly on the Review Board Meetings page in My Profile.
- Submission components from the previous board now display correctly under View Details on the Submission History page.
- Submission history now correctly retains and displays information from all review rounds, including transactional details, components under View Details, and letters in the letter column.
- The navigation menu in the reviewer panel is now fully accessible after recent updates.
- The labels Reviewer checklist and Member checklist on the submission review page have been corrected for consistent spacing.
- Once correspondence is sent, editing mode is now locked to prevent accidental changes and remains view-only.
- Confirmation messages to update study data no longer appear when accessing completed submissions.
- The system now enforces the designated timeout period correctly on the submission processing screen.
- Members can now access the analyst checklist once after submission completion; the form is read-only when the submission is closed.
- The expedited report now runs successfully from the board’s reports section without errors.
- The "Study Document Revision" AJAX popup no longer causes the screen to gray out, allowing users to make revisions or add documents as expected.
- The send email bundle functionality now works correctly in the outcome screen, allowing users to select items to include.
- Fixed an issue where Meeting Agenda was grayed out when viewing in a Firefox browser.
