Once you set up a notification type and type group, you can define email notifications for the notification type.
Defining Email Notifications
- On the notification type screen, click on the Edit box on the right-hand side.
- Adjust the notification type. When you're finished, click Save.
Email Notification Settings
- Enable Email Notifications: defines whether emails will be sent for this notification type
- Email Template: defines the template to use for this notification type
- Start Sending # of Days After Scheduled Date: defines the number of days prior to the scheduled date that emails will begin sending.
- Send to Responsible Person: defines the sender and creator of the Notification and Event task
- Send Every # of Days (Frequency): defines how often the emails will be sent beginning with the first email defined
- Stop Sending # of Days After Scheduled Date: defines how long Notifications and Events will continue. This value can be left blank for indefinite emails.
- Send to PI: defines if the notification will be sent to the PI on record
- Send to All Key Personnel: defines if the notification will be sent to all key personnel on record
- Send to Grants Contacts: defines other individuals you want to have included on the emails
Please note: Grant Contacts need to be defined on the Proposal's Contact tab. The Contact Type must be associated with a person on the Proposal for the email notification to generate.
