A system administrator can lock down the Department Manager system if needed for tasks such as data archival. 

This utility is available via the Administration module. 

How to Lock Down Department Manager

1. Click Administration-DM Administration. The Department Manager Administration module opens.
2. Click File-Utilities-Lockdown. 
   
   
   
   A dialog box displays stating that the system has been locked down successfully. 
   
   

How to Unlock Department Manager

When you are ready to unlock Department Manager for other users, follow these steps:

1. Click Administration-DM Administration. The Department Manager Administration module opens.
2. Click File-Utilities-Unlock.
