Detailed Release Notes
New and Enhanced
-
IRB members can now see the expiration date field under the Make Decision screen when processing modifications using the Expedited or Admin Level review processes, aligning with the functionality available for Renewals.

-
We have enhanced functionality for study modifications and renewals when the study has expired, or the modification was assigned to a reviewer after expiration.
The following now applies:- When processing a submission for an expired study,, the submission will always present an expiration date field in the make decision screen to extend the study expiration as needed if the renewal form has not been submitted and processed in order to complete the modification.
- If a renewal has been processed already, the system will identify the change and validate if the dates in the submission are different than the ones in the study. If they differ, the system will present an action message to the IRB member to update the dates in the submission with the updated dates in the study to avoid reverting to the previous expiration date.

Resolved
Issue: When a Renewal was updated, the expiration date was reverted when a modification was processed
Resolution: The issue has been resolved and the Study Details page should accurately reflect the correct approval and expiration dates, aligning with the Renewal approval.
