These are the release notes for Cayuse Human Ethics, updated February 10th, 2021

- Several accessibility updates have been applied to Human Ethics, including the following:
- Alert/Dialog dynamic objects are now accessible to assistive technologies. (screen readers and focus)
- Tables with active sorting elements are now focusable via the screen reader.
- Attachment upload buttons and workflows are now compliant with accessibility standards.
- Ellipses menus now have explicit aria-labels and roles.
- Editable input on the Submission Details page will no longer automatically trigger edit mode when the component is focused and edit buttons now have the proper aria-labels and roles.
- Tables in Human Ethics now have aria-labels.
- Zooming to 200-400% on a Submission and Study pages now provides access to all page controls.
- PDF header colors and statuses, and colors Dashboard, Edit Submission, Submission Details, and Study Details page now comply with accessibility standards.
- Search fields now announce that no results are found if the search criteria does not match any items in the database.
- Other minor accessibility issues have been addressed, including labels, required fields, and object IDs on legacy submission forms.
- Application stability and performance fixes have been employed to improve uptime.
- The Person Finder functionality has been optimized to give more targeted results based on the search criteria.
Fixes
- Some users were receiving an error attempting to compare modified text areas on submissions. This issue has been fixed.
