New and Enhanced
COI Email Template Customizations
- Administrators can now customize the text of some COI email templates that are triggered by an action in the system (not sent on demand). The emails templates include the following and can be customized in Admin module>More>Email Templates:
- Notice of COI Disclosure Assignment email: This is sent to the COI Primary Reviewer or COI Reviewer to notify them they have been assigned a disclosure to review.
- COI Disclosure Due email: This is sent to a COI Disclosee when a disclosure is due, indicating that the disclosure needs to be submitted by a certain date. (Reporting Customers - Gillette, Harvard Pilgrim Health)
- COI Disclosure Action is Needed email: This is sent to the COI Disclosee when there is action needed on the Research-based Disclosure.
- COI Disclosure has been Resolved email:This is sent to the COI Disclosee when their Disclosure has been resolved and includes the decision that has been provided on their Disclosure.
- A new role group called COI Templates Manager has been added for editing and managing the COI email templates. This role can be assigned in Admin Module by Administrators.

Disclosure Workflow Improvements
- A new setting called Disclosure Resolution is now available, allowing COI Administrators to control who can resolve disclosures. The setting can be accessed by COI Administrators by clicking on More>Disclosure Resolution Setting from the COI dashboard. Two options are available to select from:
- Only those with the COI Administrator role
- Those with COI Primary Reviewer, COI Reviewer, and/or COI Administrator role(s)
Fixed
- Previously, there was an issue and certain situations that was causing the Process history not to show the reviewer name when the reviewer was inactive in the middle of auto-assignment. We have fixed this issue and the Process history will now show the Reviewer name correctly in all situations.
