Some browser-based writing assistant extensions, including AI-powered grammar and writing tools, can interfere with certain editing experiences within Cayuse.
This behavior is caused by the browser extension interacting with web page content and is not specific to Cayuse. Similar issues may occur on other websites and applications that use dynamic text or template variables.
These extensions may have difficulty interpreting dynamic content, such as template variables (for example, {{Task.URL}}). As a result, they may cause unexpected behavior when viewing or editing email templates and other rich text fields, including:
- Content displaying incorrectly
- Template variables appearing unexpectedly or being modified
- Unexpected formatting or editing behavior
- Difficulty viewing or editing templates or other text fields
- Slow text processing or typing delays
Recommendation
If you encounter these types of issues, temporarily disable any browser writing assistant or AI writing extensions for the affected Cayuse page, then refresh the page and try again.
Once you have finished working in Cayuse, you can re-enable the extension if desired.
