For a user that has access to an SP proposal, award, or subaward record, they are also able to access the project details page.
When project level permissions are enabled on a tenant, that means when a user has explicit access to any record within a project, they will be able to access all other records within that project. These other records can be viewed in their respective dashboards, or from the project details page.
When project level permissions are disabled on a tenant, a user will only see the records they have explicit access to in the dashboards and within the project details page.
Project level permissions are enabled on a tenant by default and require a request to support to change the state. Reach out to support if you want to understand your tenant’s current state, or want to change the state.
The Project Interface
- Project Name: This section also contains breadcrumbs back to the projects dashboard, which contains all the projects for which the user has access.
- Project Information: This section provides summary information from records associated with the project. Please note:
- The Start Date field displays the creation date of the first record in the project. If the value is changed manually, it will revert to the original date when the page is refreshed.
- The End Date field is not currently populated.
- Project Tabs: The project tabs provide additional information, and let you add additional assets to your project (see the Additional Tabs section below for more information).
- Status: The status field lets users know what phase the project is in: In Development, Active, In Closeout, and Closed. The Project Status field doesn’t update automatically based on the statuses of the records within the project.
