Release Summary

Here's a quick overview of the updates in this release:

• SP Projects can now be searched and linked to Agreement records. 
• Agreements report now includes SP-related columns with drag-and-drop and filter options.
• Level 3 categories can now be added to hierarchies.
• Group tables now display each unit affiliation as separate rows.
• General bug fixes.

New and Enhanced

• Users with an SP role now have the ability to search for and link SP Projects to Agreement records.

Once linked, the associated Proposal and Award records are also displayed. Each SP record linked within Inventions is a clickable hyperlink that redirects to the corresponding record in SP. 

• Columns have been added to the Agreements report that allows viewing all related SP Proposal, Award, and Project records. These columns have also been added to the Additional Filters list on the report. The columns can be dragged and dropped to re-order the report, filter, and also search for titles and IDs.

• A "Level 3" can now be added to a category hierarchy. To do this, navigate to Settings > List Settings > select Categories from the dropdown menu. Use the Add to Level 1 button to create a top-level category. After saving and refreshing the page, the option to add a Level 2 category will become available. Selecting the Add to Level 2 button will nest the new category under the Level 1 category. The same process applies for creating Level 3 categories, which will appear nested under Level 2.
• Inventions now displays each unit affiliation as a separate row within Group tables across the system. This enhancement simplifies reporting by providing clear visibility into each affiliation's connection to technologies and their innovators.

Resolved

Issue: A 500 error was encountered immediately after logging out of the system, preventing proper redirection to the login screen.

Resolution: The issue has been resolved, ensuring successful logging out and seamless redirecting to the login screen without errors.

Issue: Using the Inventions Global Search in the upper-right corner of the system resulted in a Forbidden Error message.

Resolution: Keyword and exact value searches can once again be performed resulting in a list of related records based on the search criteria.
