Organizational Unit Fields
- Parent Org Unit: the Org Unit directly above the one you are creating. If you are creating a Hierarchy Level 1 (School level, for example) you will leave the Parent Org Unit field blank.
- Org Unit Code: a max of eight characters, and can be uppercase or mixed case. Org Unit Codes will be displayed by hierarchy level, and then alphabetically.
- Org Unit Name: provides a full description of the organizational unit.
- Display Status: indicates whether the Org Unit will be displayed as a possible selection when adding codes to grant records. Selecting T (TERMINATED) will not delete the code from the Code menu or from wherever it has already been added to grant records.
