Detailed Release Notes
New and Enhanced
In order to provide consistency between Admin Module and Inventions, Inventions now displays the hierarchical structure of Units the same way Units are defined in Admin.
In the example images below, data for Units is populated into Admin and synced into Inventions to display the same Units information.

For all Units that have parent or children units, that relationship is reflected in the following places in Inventions:
Group Records
Each group record in Inventions has "Related Child Groups" and "Related Parent Groups" sections. These sections will reflect the parent and/or children Units defined in Admin
People Records
Each person record in Inventions has a "Groups" section. That section will reflect the direct internal affiliations of that person, as well as the parent Units associated to that Unit in Admin. If the person has more than one internal affiliation, the system will display the Primary Appointment.
Technology Records
For each technology record, the Innovators section will display the person's direct internal affiliation as well as the parent Units associated to that Unit in Admin. If the person has more than one internal affiliation, the system will display the Primary Appointment.
Patent & Agreement Records
For each Patent and/or Agreement record, the Groups section will display the person's direct internal affiliation as well as the parent Units associated to that Unit in Admin. If the person has more than one internal affiliation, the system will display the Primary Appointment.
