Release Summary
Here's a quick overview of the updates in this release:
- Category hierarchies can now be configured.
- Resolved syncing issue for external affiliations between Admin and Inventions modules.
- Users now have proper access to the Agreements tab and related pages.
- Fixed issue preventing LEDES file uploads into the importer tool.

Detailed Release Notes
New and Enhanced
- We’ve added the ability to configure the hierarchical structure for categories. To do this, go to the Settings page, then select List Settings and choose Categories from the dropdown menu. To create a hierarchy, click the Add to Level 2 button under an existing category, then click Save. The hierarchy will be reflected in the Categories sections of Agreement, Technology, Person, and Group records.
Resolved
Issue: An issue caused external affiliations added to a person in the Admin module to not properly sync.
Resolution: Resolved the issue and now when affiliating a person with an external organization, that relationship will flow/sync with Inventions.
Issue: Some users with the role Inventions License Office Agreement Manager were unable to access the Agreements tab.
Resolution: This issue has been resolved. Now, users with the role have the appropriate access to Agreement records, as well as the following pages:
- Forms
- Pipelines
- Dashboard
- My pivots
Issue: Users were prevented from uploading LEDES files directly into the LEDES importer tool found in Settings.
Resolution: Resolved this issue. Now users are able to import LEDES files directly into the system using the LEDES importer tool without error.
