Cayuse Admins can edit and update a proposal's routing status if needed. This will not disrupt or update the automated task routing for reviews and approvals.
Specific situations may require the status of a proposal to be updated manually, for example, if a deadline requires proposal submission while review tasks are still open.
Editing the Status
- From the main dashboard, click Products, then click Sponsored Projects.
- Locate and open the proposal needing a status update.
- Click the status box and select the new status.
- Provide a comment or reason for the change, and click Save.
- The History tab will display a record of the change.
Please note: This is how the proposal transitions were implemented. When Under Consideration, the only valid transitions are Funded or Closed. If the user needs to get those records back to In Development, they need to transition them to Closed and then In Development.
