Detailed Release Notes
General New and Enhanced
- The SP error banners displayed in the UI now have a unique identifier listed that can be used to help with troubleshooting.
- Changes have been made to improve the form loading times on the Advanced Form Builder. These changes should also prevent the browser out of memory issue that some users were encountering.
- When loading a previously saved SP in-app report, new updates will now ensure that column order and filters from that report are retained.
- Project-Level Permissions functionality has been updated. See below for more detailed information regarding the updates.
Fixed
- Form section icons were sometimes incorrectly shown as green checkmarks when a record was first loaded, even if there were empty required fields. This has been resolved.
- We fixed an issue that was causing the Proposal/Award dashboards to remain unpopulated when a user had an SP Proposal/Award Viewer or Admin role for all units.
- We fixed an issue that caused problems when a user's role was changed several times, which resulted in that user still having access to some records based on their previous roles. User’s will now only have access to records based on their currently assigned role(s).
- An issue has been resolved that was causing reviewers the inability to complete their reviews due to a review rule being deleted after the record was routed for review.
- We resolved an issue that caused removed and re-added Created Date columns to display incorrectly in SP in-app reports.
- An issue has been resolved that resulted in users seeing records within a project that they didn't have access to when the project level permissions capability was disabled on a tenant.
- A bug that was causing the form object tooltip to remain unsaved in the Advanced Form Builder has now been resolved.
- We resolved an SP in-app report issue that was resulting in report data to be shifted into the wrong columns when a rich text form object with multiple lines of text was displayed on the report.
- The validation on date fields has been updated so that if an invalid value is populated in the field, it will not be saved. The implication of this is that upon reloading the record or prompting a save (i.e. updating another field with a valid value), the date field with the invalid value will be cleared.
Additional Project-Level Permissions Functionality Update
The Project-Level permissions functionality that was released in October can now be turned on or off at the tenant level. Administrators may contact support to change the state of your Project-Level Permissions feature flag.
When the project level permissions capability is enabled, the system behaves as explained in the October 2022 release notes.
When the project level permissions capability is disabled, the system behaves per the following:
- Users can only access proposals for which they have direct access
- Users can only access awards for which they have direct access
- Users can only access subawards under awards for which they have direct access
- Users can only access projects for which they have direct access to a proposal or award within that project
- When viewing these projects, the user can only see the records for which they have direct access
