Release Summary

Detailed Release Notes

New and Enhanced

• Continued to make accessibility improvements toward WCAG 2.1 compliance.
• The system will now rely on the user's browser locale to dictate the date and date time format displayed throughout the application. The system will also rely on the user's browser time zone to dictate the time value to be displayed for any date time objects. Please see below for specific areas that are impacted by this change, including a change to configuring the time format in the Advanced Form Builder.

Fixed

• Fixed an issue that was leading to the F&A Rate Type values not to populate on the Budget Builder Setup page properly.
• When copying one record from another, the system will now skip any fields that have form object incompatibilities (object configuration different, different dropdown answers, etc) so that the copy action can successfully be completed for the fields that are compatible. The system will also display a warning with the list of form objects that couldn't be copied. UPDATE July 27: There is a known issue with this change. The symptom of this issue is that the warning will erroneously list an object if the proposal and award forms have either single or multi-select dropdown objects whose ID attributes are the same but the dropdown options on the objects are different. We will be fixing this issue in the next release (date TBD).
• Fixed an issue that was leading to a white screen error when accessing the Admin Only tab if a saved note included a "%" character.
• Fixed an issue that was leading to a record's title being split into multiple columns in the downloaded CSV file if there was a comma character within double quotes in the title (i.e. Test title "quotation marks, comma included")
• Improved the unit and org finder object searches to accommodate values that contain the "&" character.
• Fixed an issue that was leading to an error when trying to use a special character like "~ [ ] ( ) { } ^ / \ < >" in a dashboard search.
• Fixed an issue that was leading to decimal and number object values being displayed with incorrect thousands separator symbol placement for negative numbers.
• Fixed an error that was occurring if the page was refreshed while on the SP form builder page for tenants using the Simplified Form Builder.
• The SP access model has been updated so that the following users can now add attachments and notes on proposals without receiving errors (please see below for additional information on future changes):
  • Users that are listed on the Research Team object
  • User that created the Proposal
  • Users given edit access via the Access tab

Users previously had the ability to configure the time format on AFB date objects, however, that ability has been removed with this update. Below are examples of before and after images of the change. The Simplified Form Builder (SFB) still does not support enabling time on date objects.

• User can’t configure this now and instead the user’s browser settings will dictate the format

• Removed the Store without time option (is selected by default if Enable time is not selected)

Additional Information: Adding Attachments and Notes to Proposals

Additional changes are necessary in future releases to allow the following users to add attachments and notes on records:

Proposals:

• Users with access via SP Proposal Reviewer role 
• Users part of a team that are triggered by a team review rule
• Users part of a team that are triggered by a notification rule

Awards:

• Users part of a team that are triggered by a team review rule
• Users part of a team that are triggered by a notification rule
