These are the release notes for Sponsored Projects, updated in UAT environments March 11th, and production environments March 15th, 2021.
- SP System Administrators and Award Administrators can now create Awards from the awards dashboard.
- When a new Award is created, there is an entry in the Award History tab that indicates that the award was created, along with a timestamp.
- Users with Edit access to Awards can only edit an Award when the Award is in the Set Up in Progress, or the In Review & Negotiation statuses.
- Award resolutions can now be set from the Manage Resolutions page.
- Users with the roles SP Award Admin and SP System Admin can transition awards using the status dropdown.
- Users can manage Award Certification text by going to More in the menu and clicking on Manage Certifications.
- Researchers can now certify an award after it has been routed, given a certification rule has been added to the award form.
- When an award is routed, review tasks are created for reviewers of the award.
- Administrators can now route awards. Users with Admin permissions will now see a Route for Review button on an award for awards that are in the status In Review and Negotiation.
- Users, viewers, and reviewers for Awards can now see Award Summaries at the top of the award record. Summaries provide high-level information at a glance.
- A new Sponsored Projects role is now available to as a unit-assignable role in the Admin Module.
- The Awards Details page has a similar look and feel to the Proposals Details page, including tabs for Award Form, Routing, Award History, Tasks, Notes, and Attachments.
- Users can now start an award by copying a previous award.
- A Budget Upload object is now available to add to forms, allowing users to upload and import Summary Budgets.
- Users now see the units and teams who will need to certify or authorize a Proposal on the Routing tab as they complete their Proposal Form. This list on the Routing Tab updates dynamically as the user answers questions on the Proposal Form.
- Users can now copy proposal data to an award form from the Create Award modal.
- Someone listed as a Proposal Access Viewer on a specific Proposal record can log in to Cayuse Sponsored Projects and see all proposals where they have been added as a Proposal Viewer.
- Users can now search for awards via the Award Search bar.
- Awards are organized on the Awards Dashboard by a series of tiles: Set Up In Progress, In Review & Negotiation, Active, In Closeout, and Closed.
