The ability to download opportunities is set by the System Administrator, so you may not have access to this feature. However, most Cayuse customers allow anyone to download opportunities.

The Opportunities tab displays the current list of federal funding opportunities that have been downloaded from Grants.gov.

To download an opportunity from Grants.gov:

1. Click the Retrieve Opportunities button.



2. Enter the Opportunity Number or CFDA# into the respective fields.



3. Click Retrieve Opportunities

Once an opportunity is downloaded into Cayuse 424 it is available for all Cayuse users to create by clicking the  symbol.

By default, expired opportunities are not displayed unless Show closed opportunities is selected.

You can click on the Info icon   next to the Opportunity name to see more detailed information on that specific Opportunity. Any opportunities that are listed with an exclamation point icon are unsupported by the Cayuse application, and you can hover over the icon to see more details as to why.

Icons on the left side of the Opportunity list indicate opportunity status.

	Expired: You will no longer be able to create proposals for this opportunity.
	Unsupported: Cayuse 424 will not allow you to prepare a proposal for this opportunity. You can click the Info icon for more details as to why.
	Obsolete: This opportunity has been removed from the Grants.gov server and is no longer valid.
